School Uniform 


The School Uniform comprises:

· School shoes should black, with low heels and backs.

· Sensible summer sandals with back heel supports (no flip flops or crocs!)  

· White Polo shirt, black or grey trousers/skirts.

· Maroon sweatshirts (crew neck) or cardigan with school logo (not red)

· Red and white small check dresses in summer.

· Black, grey or white socks.  

 

Children also require P.E. kit comprising:

· White t-shirt, blue or black shorts, plimsolls or trainers in a named bag.  

· Leotards may also be worn for gymnastics.  

· Children wishing to play football require appropriate kit from Year 3.  

· A blue or black plain tracksuit is strongly recommended for all children, especially during the winter months.  

 

Hairstyle:

· We do not permit extreme hairstyles or non-natural colours.

· Hair can be any length but hair longer than collar length must be tied back, on both boys and girls.

· Hair must be held back with a plain hair band/bobble or smart Alice band or hairclip.

 

Jewellery and Make-Up:

· One pair of stud style earrings is permitted.

· A watch is permitted. However, some smart watches may need to be handed-in to the teacher.

· Friendship bands, bracelets, necklaces and rings are not permitted.  

· Make-up, including nail varnish, is not permitted.

Lost Property

Parents are urged to label all their child’s possessions.  Should items become lost the school has a lost property box which can be viewed by contacting the school office.

Uniform Grant

Free school meal entitlement also entitles your child to access the school uniform grant.  This is a £40 uniform voucher given per child every year.   For more information please see Mrs Mintern or Mrs Legg in the school office.
