Snow / School Closure

In the unlikely event of extreme weather conditions parents will be notified of school closure through our text messaging service. Alternatively you can access school closure information on http://mapping.dorsetforyou.com/closedservices. Local Radio stations will still carry information about closures. We will also endeavour to post a notice on here should the school be closed at the earliest possible time.

If you have not been notified by 8.15am the school WILL be open as usual. Please check the information provided above BEFORE ringing the school.

Car Park and Child Safety

Cars are NOT permitted to drive into the school staff car park other than in EXCEPTIONAL circumstances. If the car park gate is open it does not mean access other than for school transport and supplied. This also applies to after school clubs. Please do NOT drive in to collect your children.

8.45am Start

Lessons start promptly at 8.45am. Please ensure your children arrive in time.

School Security

In an aim to further improve school security please sign in at the main office if you have an appointment with a member of staff. Please wait in the KS1 and KS2 Playgrounds to collect your children. This measure is in line with all Health and Safety Procedures in Dorset schools.
