Year One
There are two year 1 classes with a full-time teacher in each. Miss Miles (Key Stage One Leader) teaches in 1M supported by Mrs Bool (teaching assistant) and Mrs Shoesmith (lunchtime supervisor), and Mr Dukes teaches in 1D supported by Mrs Wadham (teaching assistant) and Mrs Piper (lunchtime supervisor).

Messages
PE is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please ensure that your child has a full PE kit with each item labelled with his/her name.
This term homework is mainly reading homework. Please listen to your child read each evening and write in the record book. Enjoy talking about the pictures before reading and encourage your child to have a go at sounding out tricky words and using the pictures as clues.
