There are two year 4 classes with a full-time teacher in each. Mr Greet teaches in 4G supported by Mrs Rowe (teaching assistant) and Mrs S Ward (lunchtime supervisor), and Mr Caldwell teaches in 4C supported by Mrs Porter and Mrs Weeks (teaching assistants) and Mrs Holden (lunchtime supervisor).
This term we started by looking at ‘Ourselves.’
Within our school topic of ‘Around the World’ we will be studying the travels of the Vikings. This will include an exciting Viking Day later in the term!
In year 4 we have outdoor games on Mondays and indoor PE on Fridays. It is very important your child has their full PE kit in school for these lessons to ensure they can participate fully.
Year 4 have recorder lessons on Monday mornings – please ensure your child brings their recorder in every week.
Our new spelling lists will be given out on Mondays and the children will be tested every Friday. It is very important that children learn their spellings throughout the week.
Homework will be handed out on Thursdays and collected in the following Wednesday.
